Amy Reedy

ATTORNEY AT LAW

Biography

Prior to going to Law School at the Nashville School of Law I was employed as a deputy clerk in the circuit court clerk's office.

After graduating from Law School, I was employed as an Assistant District Attorney General with the 10th Judicial District for 12 years. I practiced in all general sessions courts of the 10th Judicial District and the Criminal Courts of the 10th Judicial District. I handled every type of Criminal Case and conducted hundreds perhaps over 1,000 matters in General Sessions and many Criminal Jury Trials from misdemeanors to Death Penalty Murder cases. I was also employed as an Assistant Public Defender and defended many matters in those same courts from Murder cases to minor criminal matters. I served as a Criminal Court Judge for 8 1/2 years throughout the 10th judicial district handling thousands of matters from non contested matters up to Death Penalty Jury Trials.

My Husband and law partner opened our own law firm in 2014 and we primarily handle Criminal Defense matters at every level including speeding tickets and serious felony charges. Our office loves to defend people accused of criminal matters and we also love to help people get help with life controlling addictions that have led to criminal conduct.
